Making informed investment decisions

Fankhauser & Associates have been delivering training and facilitating investment management workshops over the last 9 years. We are the endorsed training supplier for the Department of Treasury and Finance.

Workshop facilitation

Rae Fankhauser has facilitated in excess of 200 workshops across the workshop suite within the Investment Management Standard - Problem definition, Benefits Definition, Solution definition, Service Logic and Investment Prioritisation and Organisational Logic.

At the heart of each of these 2 hour workshops is a commitment to intelligent, robust discussion with a focus on strategic, evidence based decisions about investments. This aims to ensure that:

• Investment proposals are clear, compelling and evidence-based
• Interventions are strategic, realistic and feasible
• Benefits are clearly articulated and how they will be measured understood early
• Solutions are robust and smart and there is a clear understanding of the scope of the solution that is likely to be required to respond to the business need and produce the benefits that are sought.

All workshops are conducted in accordance with the Victorian Government's Investment Management Standard and its associated Guidelines.

Training programs

We have delivered over 80 training programs ranging from one day open programs to three day in-house programs for government and non-government individuals and organisations.
