ACCESSIBILITY

This website has been designed to meet the w3c accessibility standards, including those that relate to access for people with disabilities. This site incorporates relevant priority 1requirements from the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

As the site is mainly text-based we have not provided a text-only version of the site. Most graphical, layout and styling elements having to do with the user interface are applied through a style-sheet to ensure a separation from the semantics of the page with that of its presentation. We use alternative text (known as ALT text) to describe the function and/or visual content of graphics where it is part of the content.

The www.fankhauser.com.au site has been developed to display adequately on newer standards-based browsers. Special features have been included to enable effective operation by persons using accessibility hardware and/or software. The site is designed for an 1024 x 768 or greater screen resolution.
